ive done 3 or 4 speech’s at weddings. my suggestion: start with a story of the first time the bride and groom met, funny or sweet. then say your feelings for the groom, friendship, then a story relating to the bride and you/groom-something that refers to their love for one another. throw in tasteful jokes here and there. and don’t feel pressured. at one wedding i started of saying: there is nothing that i can say today that i haven’t already said to (bride/groom) before, i wish you both love, prosperity, and happiness for all time.
speak from your heart using a guideline of what you want to say,.
good luck!
